Pikes Peak Engagement Session Inspiration

Location: Pikes Peak

It’s no secret that sessions in the mountains hold a special place in my heart. But sessions in Pikes Peak will always hold an extra special place in my heart. Not only for the sessions but because I grew up coming here with family almost every summer and it easily became one of my favorite places in the world. Now, getting to go back and capture my couples here makes everything feel like it is coming full circle.

One of the luxuries of Pikes Peak is the many different options for the backdrop of your session. Without going to multiple locations, we can get you many different looks for your engagement photos.

The Mountains

I don’t need to say much when it comes to my love for the mountains. If you follow me on social media or know me personally, you know that I escape to the mountains almost any chance I have. Any wedding or session that comes my way in the mountains and you’ll find me there if I’m not already booked. Pikes Peak gives you just what you need when you think ‘mountains’ and I’ll never be tired of capturing my couples here.

The Trees

The tall pine, fir and many other trees that adorn Pikes Peak make for a jawdropping backdrop in sessions. Not only does the sun dance beautifully through the branches, but being surrounded by the trees creates the perfect intimate moment for my couples during their session.

The Water

A good water backdrop for a session will never go out of style. The sunlight always plays off the water in such beautiful ways that is adds just what you need to a session.
